The afternoon tea was a little disappointing, the sandwiches were a little crispy around the edges where they hadn’t been made to order and the scones were overcooked. However, positives far outweighed the negatives. The receptionist was extremely friendly on arrival. Every member of staff we met were welcoming and friendly, going out of their way to please. The front of house for breakfast were exceptional. I had a massage, I had Merryn, this was the highlight of my trip and will stay with me forever, due to the conversation we had.
