"We only spent one night but we loved our blue room. It had an extra living room and small kitchenette area. It was quite spacious for two and wood be on for 4 with small children. Unfortunately the bistro was not open the night we stayed so we couldn’t sample the food but a lovely owner showed us around in the morning. We were also bummed that the coffee shop is temporarily closed. We hope it’ll open back up and will add another cool factor to this unique accommodation. "

"This lodge is not for everyone…. but it has charm if you like history. The Manager was so helpful…… You won’t find another Lodge as quirky as that one. The views from our huge balcony were fantastic."

"Beautiful home, with incredible views, a sandy little beach with boulders and beautiful foliage surrounding it, where you feel like you’re in your own little paradise. Fire pit overlooking the stunning lake, and covered porch where you can sit in all kinds of weather and enjoy the breathtaking views and relaxing sounds, and so much more! So many little areas to sit in around the house and cozy up with a book. Separate sitting area with lots of board games we enjoyed every night, and an air hockey table which our kids loved! The owners thought of everything and more, the comforts of home but the amenities of a hotel, all the little details were wonderful. It was exactly what our little family needed for the week, we were so sad to leave, and will definitely be back! Thank you so much for having us, your home is lovely, the grounds and area are magical!!! "
