"We arrived with instructions to retrieve the front door key from a lock box. We opened the lock box only to find it was empty. We called our host numerous times, emailed and texted. We never got a response. We tried to contact hotels.com with no success. We finally were able to speak to someone at The Evolve Team, which is the company that manages this vacation rental. After numerous calls back and forth they agreed to cancel our booking and begin the process for refunding our money in full. I...

"We booked this house last minute for our fall break trip. It was great for so many reasons!! They allowed dogs, was one house off the sand, had great views of the beach/ocean/jetty from the patio, easy access to grocery and food options, plus there was a fire pit, sauna, and hot tub! The house was clean and well stocked with all the basic amenities. Drew the owner was very communicative and friendly. "

The cottage is right on the sand, 2 blocks down from the boardwalk, so you can easily walk or ride a bike to get to the pier or any of the many shops and restaurants. The only issues we had were: 1. "We had a wonderful time. House was very clean and bed was super comfortable. Loved the location and patio. It had everything you needed for the beach which was huge for us as we flew and couldn’t bring a ton with us. Has ac in every room which was super nice. Parking was convenient and you had your space to park in garage. You could walk to the beach and near by restaurants. "

"We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean with plenty of enough linens and towels. We loved having 2 bikes and beach chairs in the garage saved us from having to rent. Host was responsive when I had a few questions and took care of my needs right away. I would recommend to anyone that wants a quick get away it is close to the beach and right across the street from the store which makes getting food back to the house easy.
