"We enjoyed our stay and plan on booking this hotel again. The breakfast had a great selection. The dining room with the fireplace was cozy with plenty of room. Our room was perfect for 2 with a king sized bed, microwave and refrigerator. Very clean."

"This place was adorable, and it was a very lucky find on the eve of a storm on a holiday weekend with 2 dogs in tow. Seems to be an old motel renovated. Cute decor. There were lots of cute helpful extras packed into a small space. Coffee, tea and Cider for the Keurig, retro mini fridge, garbage can with recyclables and compost sections, dog quilts. Self check in. Lot was frequently plowed during 24 hours of snow. Close to Killington and downtown Woodstock. Loved the 3pm check in and 11am checkout! Small things that were not ‘perfect’ were broken rack for hanging things near entry, some small garbage debris missed by housekeeping, and difficulty determining if I needed to contact Expedia or Sleep Woodstock with a question. All in all really came in clutch when we needed a clean and comfortable place close to mountain!"

"I haven't always had the best luck with smaller independent hotel/motels. However, the reviews for the Newport Motel were really positive and as it turns out, accurate. I was greeted in a friendly manner and had all of my questions answered when I arrived. The room was large, comfortable, and incredibly clean. WiFi worked well, beds were comfortable, and the room was equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. It also had a large rack in the back area of the room that allowed us to store our bags off the floor. The property is right on the main road and less than ten minutes from Sunapee Mountain, making it an ideal place to stay if you're doing some skiing. I asked for some recommendations for dinner at check-in and those didn't disappoint. We had a great experience at the Salt Hill Pub right down the street. I really enjoyed my stay and will be back again for sure. Thank you Newport Motel!"
