"Great property "

"This property was clean, basic and all you need for a cheap stay over whilst visiting the island. The rooms are dated, and reminded me of early Mr Dirk Diggler movie sets. Though once you're inside, you have all the basic amenities including a fridge, table and chair to work from, reclining leather chairs. It was comfortable, the bed was very comfortable. The location was surprisingly quiet except the noise of nature/wildlife. It was a very pleasant stay and extremely friendly and helpful...

"The Seaview rooms have been beautifully updated with contemporary design features. Resting in these rooms you look through palm trees to the ocean beyond, lovely!!"

"Unfortunately our stay was cut short by bushfire but the day and a half we spent there was nice. It is a great location to explore flinders Chase National park which is magnificent and nearby Hanson Beach is stunning. The retreat even has some small nature walks around the property that we saw some great birdlife on (they have their own bird blind so bring your camera). The bbq area is great and we enjoyed some home cooked steaks so don't be afraid to ask the restaurant to borrow what you need -...

"This property is perfect if you want to be away from everything. Its secluded and relaxing - with great views and plenty of wildlife about. Its completely off grid with solar electricity and water from tanks. The room has everything you need for a short or even and extended stay. Plenty of cooking equipment, a full sized fridge with freezer and tea and coffe with a kettle and microwave. We really enjoyed our 5 days here."
