"It could have been better. The location and price met our needs for a last minute solution for a trip to meet up with friends nearby. The place was charming but run down. The walls had many holes and scuffs that could have easily been fixed with spackle and a coat of paint. The fireplace/thermostat didn’t work until the last night we stayed. "Very nice place with a warm cabin feeling. It has a small kitchen with a sink, stove, and counter . The place comes equipped with pots, pans, and microwave . Just bring your own cooking oils, spices, and plastic wrap and utensils like forks and spoons. This place has a fireplace, it was nice to have a fire while it snowed outside. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They are also dog friendly. I would stay here next time! "

"This is a great unit. Very spacious. The beds are very comfortable. Only criticism is that the couch is oriented in a way that makes viewing the TV awkward. The fenced backyard and proximity to the groomed winter walking path makes this an ideal property for travelers with dogs. Location is convenient to Palisades and Tahoe City, We definitely would stay here again."

"We spent three nights here over the Thanksgiving holiday. Cozy cabin space with fireplace. The period decor was great--right out of the 1950's but clean and well-maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful--we hit some local hills for early season sledding and they set us up with sleds and helmets. We will be back!"

"We had a nice few days at the condo. The condo has everything you need. There wasn't anything that we were lacking, except for air conditioning. But thankfully the condo has many nice stand up fans. We needed them as it was 98 in Tahoe. We really appreciated the stand up paddle board we used at the lake. The rooms were comfy and we felt like we were at home. It's very close to everything on the north side. We would definitely stay there again. "
