"The staff were friendly and very accommodating."

"We were told we would have access to a dulux kitchen this was not the case, in reality it was an outside bar area which was not cleaned or used regularly. There was no private beach area it was an area open to use by the public and had to be accessed by the public road. The room was decorated well but not aired or cleaned before we got there and although offered an alternative that was not cleaned thoroughly. Security was someone who lived on the property although polite and friendly he would come and go only providing security if he was around and also help to open the car port door which we were left to deal with otherwise if we wanted to leave the property in the meantime. Property management was very poor and complaints and queries dwelt with if ‘she’ decided to be available that day. Locals were friendly and access to good eating places available especially needed as the kitchen promised was not a kitchen. We will not be returning. "

"We loved this property! the location was so peaceful and serene by the water. The rooms where very clean and well equipped, the staff were really friendly and helpful and made sure we were comfortable. The restaurant was nice and we enjoyed iur Jamaican breakfast by the water. Would definitely come and stay again on our next trip."

"The sat nav directions took us to a field a couple of.mikes away from the property, called thenumber, took a few tries to get an answer, then due to misunderstanding, was given dirctions for coming in the opposite direction that we were.heading, took a few phone calls and a few wrong turns till we got there. The lady on arrival was really helpful. Had choice of 2 cabins. Lovely, vlean and huge bed. Take.mosquito spay though as right next to the water. The view was amazing of the pond. Had to ask for water to be turned on and the was a bit dodgy. Same lady in the morning didnt seem happy when she asked for id, i do not carry my passport with me, my jamaican husband just had his driving licence which she eventually took but seemed vexed. It is a gorgeous place, i personally wpukdnt visit again mostly due to the attitude but i would recommend a visit soley for the loaction. "

"Very quiet and comfortable. Grounds were maintained and the beach is right outside the back gate of the property. The only issue was internet access. Maybe it was due to the recent hurricane, so I want consider that a negative. We had our global hotspot, so we managed. "

"This property is a hidden jewel. Very quiet and very peaceful. Not in the heart of the town, with all the hustle and bustle. But close enough to the historical town of Black River, the capital of St. Elizabeth parish. Also a little historical fact, it was the first town to receive electricity. The property is near to famous attractions such as Black River Safari, YS falls, Jamaica Zoo, and Holland Bamboo. Love this property!"

"Staying here was exactly what we needed. We got a pleasant surprise for our anniversary welcome that the entire family played a role in setting up. Sean and Geneva were quite hospitable and gave us everything we needed. Firefly was sooo relaxing. Its the kinda place that gets you in touch with just sounds and breath taking views of nature. 4x4 vehicle is most ideal for travel Definitely a revisit in que."
