"It was a perfect location! In town and since it was December was quiet, you can walk to anything you need. Coffee shop, thrift/antique shops, smoothie bar, tattoo shop, multiple little restaurants and local shops, a cute little vinyl bar. About 20 minutes from Meredith which is another cute little town. The staff was great! Would definitely recommend!"

"We checked in and got an upgrade to Church Landing and got a beautiful room with balcony looking out over the lake. The room was twice the size of Mill Falls, much quieter and huge bathrooms. It was wonderful and we were very impressed vs the small and noisy rooms that looked at the parking lot we were expecting. "

"anytime i am on a work trip I always stay at this hotel. I have never had a bad experience and would recommend to anyone traveling in the area"

"Overall our room was clean and well put together and easy to access with the code emailed to us before check in, the only two downsides were that the air unit rattled quite a bit which only mattered because I'm a light sleeper, and the TV is a cable TV instead of a smart TV so we could only pick from a handful of things to watch. Overall I recommend this place to stay as it's affordable and one minute drive away from gunstock mountain."

"The Common Man Inn is a wonderful place full of personality and tons of local history. They also have a resident cat who is super sweet- to see her snoozing around the lobby is precious!"

"Weloved our stsy. Once again...things get better with each visit! The staff is great...MOST comfortable bed, and live the revived libby. This time we were thrilled with the new breakfasts amd the cafe. Absolutely delucious! Cant wait to teturn in the Spring!"
