"Das Ferienhaus eignet sich gut, für Familien oder mit Freunden., da zwei Bäder und Toiletten vorhanden sind. Mit der Verteilung der Schlafplätze sollte man sich im Voraus auseinandersetzen, wenn das Haus voll belegt wird. Ansonsten war alles vorhanden was man für ein Ferienhaus benötigt. Die Aussicht ins Tal ist sehr schön. Leider gab es einige Defekte im Haus. In zwei Zimmern waren die Fensterscheiben beschädigt, so das man die Fenster nur mit Vorsicht öffnen konnte. "Wir sind vier Ehepaare, die Pfingsten gemeinsam in einem Ferienhaus verbringen. Das Chalet in Hinterrod hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Ausstattung ist super: moderne Küche, genügend Geschirr, Gläser, zwei Kühlschränke, ein kleiner Gefrierschrank, bequeme Betten, gute Kissen und Decken. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön; man kann gleich vom Haus los wandern. Die Sauna haben wir nicht benutzt. Der Grill ist klein und die Mischbatterien in den Duschen nicht auf dem neuestem Stand. "Wie der Titel sagt, im Nirgendwo. Die Lage am Waldrand ist für Wanderungen optimal. Viel Wald und sehr schöne Landschaft. Allerdings gibt es sehr wenige Gastwirtschaften zum einkehren bzw. vorhandene sind geschlossen. Im Ort selbst gibt es gar nichts, nicht mal einen Bäcker. Die Unterkunft ist alt und eng, wie halt vor hundert Jahren gebaut wurde. Es ist sauber. Wir waren zu sechst, bei 8 Personen wird die Luft dünn. Die steile Treppe ohne Geländer ins untere Bad bzw. zur Terrasse ist vor allem...

"This is located above an existing home with private access. Fussball table, coffee maker, towels, sauna, room darkening covers on windows, deck for watching the sunset, countryside beautiful, air conditioner for sleeping area. Fridge wasn't on but got cold overnight. And shower did not drain well, so soaked the floor mat. But the place was very cute, great hosts, nice location for our needs."

"Wir waren 2 Übernachtungen im Gästehaus Schmidt und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Der große Aufenthaltsraum mit angrenzender Küche bietet eine gute Möglichkeit zum Zusammensitzen. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Der Garten ist sehr schön beleuchtwt abends."

"Es war ein wunderbarer, ruhiger und entschleunigender Aufenthalt direkt am Waldrand über Silvester mit meinem Hund. Es gab ein paar vereinzelte Böller im Laufe des Silvesterabends. Um Mitternacht war ein wenig mehr los, was aber nach etwa 30 bis 45 Minuten vorbei war. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtetund mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Ein weiteres Highlight für mich war der Kamin und natürlich der phänomenale Ausblick vom Balkon. "

"Die Unterkunft war gut, das Küchenbesteck(große Messer) sind alle defekt.Das WC-Papier war für die Anzahl der Gäste zu wenig, eine Seife zum Händewaschen wäre auch schön gewesen. Die Sauna ist zu Úberteuert, und würde dadurch nicht genutzt."

Best Western Plus Kurhotel an der Obermaintherme

AMAZING

"GREAT AMAZING HOTEL. A bit pricey but for the comfort and location for spa it's GREAT! Breakfast buffet is the best one I have ever been to. They have everything you would want for breakfast. It also has the BEST times until 1100 weekdays and noon weekends. AMAZING. I highly recommend. The spa was NOT the best. To get drinks you either go to the restaurant or a small bar in spa area. The bar was the smallest I have ever seen and way too SMALL for the amount of visitors and the size of spa. It had a very SMALL pool to walk up too but it was always pretty full and DEFINITELY understaffed! "

"Lovely quiet, rural area. Fabulous forestry, rocky outcrops, scenery so green. Great for walking, cycling, exploring this part of northern Bavaria. Even though rural roads, superb, easy from A to B. Staff lovely in the hotel. Spoke good English for restricted German speakers. Comfort Room spacious and clean. Little terrace with outside seating. Great views. No sound issues from rooms next door or above (we were ground floor). Great shower! But no tea/coffee facilities in room. The usual wonderful buffet breakfast. Adequate evening meal but then chose to eat out in the evening for the other two nights; wanted to experience more. Didn’t use Spa or swimming pool; too much to do and see elsewhere in the vicinity to include in our three night stay. "
