"Positiv: sehr sauber, freundliche Mitarbeiter, zentrale ruhige Lage, Parkplätze am Haus, vielseitiges Frühstück (für eine Jugendherberge). Negativ: Die schlechte Belüftung im Haus! Im Schlafsaal mit 14 Betten gibt es keine Fenster, nur verschlossene Oberlichter und einen Decken-Ventilator: stickige heiße Luft im Raum. Auch in den Sanitärräumen und im Speisesaal gab es zu wenig natürliche Belüftung. Schade!"

"No one came to clean the room in the 2 days we were opsite, no air conditioner, and a window that didn't open. We slept with a fan with 26 degrees at night, you do. Almost poor breakfast, little stuff and endless waits to reintegrate them. I don't think we'll be back, sure it's that 4 * is not"

"Meersburg and the hotel were something of a revelation to us. Only there for an overnight stay but will certainly be back. Our room was pleasant, clean, seemingly recently refurbished, and very well appointed / designed / set out, with guests’ convenience in mind. The hotel is directly on the lakeside, and our room looked out on to the ferry quay. Peaceful and beautiful. Parking is limited but we were offered a space just a couple of minutes walk away from the hotel - €15, which we thought was a bit steep. One other inconvenience was that breakfast is served in a sister hotel about 200 metres away, though a little electric shuttle is provided, if needed. This was more than compensated for, however, by the magnificent breakfast spread! A huge range of quality food and one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had."

Perfect location and space

"We were delighted to find the space as described, directly at the lake with an amazing view. Everything was clean and comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Communication with the host was great although confusing at times as we also received communication from a German property manager in German ahead of our stay. It all worked itself out perfectly and we had an awesome stay. I especially want to recommend the restaurant below the apartment called Seesicht! Excellent food, service and view!"

"Property is quirky if you like a medieval setting. We booked king size bed and lake view. We got 2 single beds and the lake view was a very small piece of water between buildings on either side of the street. Reception were not helpful, arguing we had what we booked but I don’t think that is correct. No alternative was offered nor any discount for our disappointment. Room is in old premises without AC, very hot whilst we were there. All things to be aware of and Expedia should update their description as it is not what you are booking."
