8 guests, 3 bedrooms, 6 beds, 1 bathroom
Water lodge Skries is an unconventional holiday home for 2-8 people on the water’s edge. It’s very secluded surrounded by trees and there is plenty of space for children to play. Skries is close to the playground and to the shallow pond at Pean-buiten. The pointed roof and the glass gables create a huge sense of space inside. Skries means black-tailed godwit in Frisian; a well-known and protected farmland bird that you will certainly also hear.
In this lodge, you’ll really feel you are getting away from it all. And what makes the lodge extra special is that you can also rent the Ljip and Goudûle holidays homes for the perfect family weekend away for up to 18 guests.
The living area has two fixed settees and comfy armchairs.
The Skries is on the south-east side of Pean-buiten. The house is surrounded by enough space for children to play and there is a spot for a campfire.
You won’t notice the guests in the other houses at Pean-buiten very much when you’re in the Skries. And if you are part of a larger group and have rented the water lodges Goudûle and/or Ljip, you can slip through the trees as if you have your own little cluster of homes at Pean-buiten.
