"Our stay was great. I would recommend this hotel! Very walkable to bus, sites and restaurants! Ladies at the desk were very kind and welcoming! Allowed us to store luggage before and after check in/out! Best bed I’ve ever slept in Europe!!!!! Nice balcony. No refrigerator but that was ok. We would stay again! Very clean!!!!!"

"Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Everywhere was clean, the standard double room was large, with a comfortable super-king bed and coffee/tea making facilities. The shower was powerful and hot, and shower gel and shampoo were provided and replenished. The hotel’s right in the centre of things with multiple cafes, restaurants and shops just minutes away. There’s a small pool on the roof and plenty of sun loungers, tables and chairs. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!"

"We have just returned following a lovely long weekend in Nerja. 5 ladies travelled for a girls mini break. We had 2 bedrooms in Hotel Toboso Chaparil. A double and a triple room although the double also had 3 beds. The hotel is in a excellent location. Only a short stroll to beach and main town square/area. The main town is all pedestrianized so no cars. Cars are allowed on road outside hotel but you wouldnt even know as it was so quiet at night even with one of our rooms at street level. The...

Playa del Maro beach is a hidden gem and about half hours walk, and the caves are 200m away from the hotel, both a must visit. I felt very chilled out staying there. Big thank you to the staff. "

"Lovely ensuite room. Comfy big bed. Large balcony got the sun all day with view to the beach. Very central. Above restaurant but quiet at night. Cleaned every day & fresh towels when needed. Mini fridge in room. Friendly, helpful staff around all day. Big supermarket & lots of shops, cafes, bars close by."

"We had an excellent stay at Hostal Casa Mercedes. Thank you to the team there. We arrived on a late flight after reception closed, but were given access code to enter property and key was left in our room. It was all communicated in advance and worked without any problems. The room (junior suite) was spacious with large comfortable bed, double shower cubicle and balcony with direct view to sea. Breakfast was lovely and had a great selection. Excellent value for money. "
