"We had a great four night stay at this property; it worked very well for me, my wife, and our dog. The older house is clean and nicely updated with easy parking and check-in. Wasn't an issue for us, but be aware the small backyard is not fenced. The house backs up to an Arby's drive through lane, so there is some minor noise. "This last minute getaway to spend News Years Eve with friends was a perfect find. The open flood plan was comfortable and roomy. Plenty of seating. A large kitchen table to play games comfortably for 6 adults. The bedrooms were comfortable as well.The deco was very nice. Highly recommend. "

"We came to town for the Bourbon distilleries. Traveling from Cincinnati we hit Frankfort and Lawrenceburg before heading to the house. We were all very happy with how nice the house was. Clean and comfortable. Location was amazing! About 5 minutes to Heaven Hill, about 5 minutes to quaint shops and restaurants in Bardstown. We would definitely rent this home again! "

"It is a great place. Love seeing the wildlife in the morning and evenings. It is quiet. It is far enough away you don’t get bothered by city life but close enough to not have to drive out of your way for anything. I would definitely stay again. Nicely done place, comfortable, has everything you need to stay for a weekend or a week. Great host."
