"The property is very good with large rooms and parking right outside the door. It is convenient for us to travel. As Emporia is a small town we do feel it is pretty safe. The surrounding area is not great as it is not close to Restaurants/shops and not very walkable. As this hotel does not serve breakfast, it is a travel to get food. The office is only open at 9am making it inconvenient in case you need help."

"The facility is old, the exterior doors at the alternate entrances didn’t close securely. The main door to my room required a bit of force to open and had to be pulled closed to secure. The floor of my first floor room and the hallway had spongy spots. It appears the ownership has changed recently and they are actively working on fixing things. It was a rook for me to sleep while on town for business. But the other facilities around the area are in better condition"

"This was our 3rd stay at this property. It was once again, everything we could ask for! Although we had some storms that rolled through Saturday evening, we still had a great time. We swam, kayaked, fished, had smores and hot dogs at the fire pit and more! Thanks once again for having us! We will see you next year!"

"The property is beautiful and private! The house is very accommodating with 5 bedrooms, 3 of which have multiple beds. Plenty of space for both families in our group! There is a gravel boat ramp at the end of the road making access to the lake very easy. Kristy was very helpful and kind. Everyone loved it and had a great time! 10 out of 10 recommend!"
