"Chelsea Park Motor lodge is a great base for exploring Nelson and surrounding area. Approximate 10 minute walk from main shopping street and some of the town's parks. The room was spacious and comfortable with a small kitchen area including fridge. The hosts were friendly and helpful offering advise on places to visit/ eat. Also, they went above and beyond when I accidentally stood at the wrong location for the morning bus shuttle to Abel Tasman park and missed the pick up. I had stayed 2 nights but wish I had allowed a longer stay in my itinerary."

"A very nice modern apartment, have all the facilities including washing machine, dryer , it also has a spa bath , although we didn’t use it. Very good location, and it is also very quiet at night although our room is next to the street."
