"This is a place that feels like a home away from home - with some very cool perks. The waterfall and creek on the property sets the ambiance with both the sounds & views. The hot tub was wonderful for both cool mornings and evenings. Each bedroom has its own heater, window unit AC, ceiling fan, & tv. Windows open to the waterfall which is great. "The little cabin was adorable, sort of shabby chic. The road from the paved road to the cabin was rough, but we made it. One thing puzzled us, though: The lovely windows that showed a gorgeous view were clouded with something that looked like soap suds, so our view was only partial. Odd! Other than that, we enjoyed our time high above the heat, plus we got to watch the full moon travel across the sky one night."

"The one thing I would like to suggest is since you allow animals, you should probably get leather furniture so that animals hair is not embedded in the furniture. It’s much easier to sanitize."

"We loved this house! Beds were so comfortable. The hot tub was great. There were tons of games and toys for the kids to play with. The area was close enough to town to be a short drive but far enough away enough to be secluded and private. We had to contact the rental property once about the electric fireplace but they responded so quickly and came and fixed it. He was so helpful and very courteous. "The place was very clean and close to nearby Bryson City. The only negative remarks are there is no toaster even though the listing says there is. Also, there is a TV but no internet and no satellite to use the TV. Thankfully we were able to use our hotspot. The walls are very thin, so you can hear everything from the other rooms. Bring extra blankets in the winter months. There is only sheets and a thin comforter on the beds. Hot showers though! Overall, I would rent again."
