"The good: In general terms, this hotel was comfortable, clean and pleasant, with a nicely decorated if a little tired and slightly small, room. "Outside is a takeaway with motorbike deliveries, no wall paper on the walls in the hallways (we were told it was being decorated), no real door to the toilet/shower. Didn’t realise it was 2-star but it was clean and functional, host was pleasant. Lack of aircon plus the outside noise meant we simply didn’t sleep (it was August) so without aircon was always going to be a challenge. "

"While we were a little nervous about the somewhat shabby area around this small, quiet hotel, we were quite happy to enter and find an immaculately clean, modernized facility. The parking area, while not a garage, fell safe and secure. The staff was incredibly welcoming and kind, the common areas fresh and modern and the room so clean and sparkling! Absolutely the only reason I had to take off a star was because the mattress really could use replacing. It felt old and I could feel the springs....
