"A total mistake on my part making a booking at this hotel. It's inadequate in every way possible, no proper en suite, awful towels, etc. etc. I do not understand how a family could cope in these so called family rooms. Unfortunately I did not realise it is trying to be a theme type experience, rather than being a 'proper" hotel. We arrived at 5 pm and there was no parking available. The reception, corridor flooring etc. is as scruffy as you can get. I hope this helps to dissuade you from booking...

"This is a budget hotel so don't expect fancy thrills. We were pleasently surprised. The hotel is clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff is friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was perfect. There many restaurants close by to choose from, within walking or driving distance. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would stay here again if we were in the area."

"We booked the hotel to attend a music concert at the Futurascope Arena. The hotel is clean and tidy with excellent facilities. The bar has tables with games on them which was a unique touch. Check-in was easy, staff where very friendly and efficient. Room was a good size, bed was comfortable. The only downsides were that their were no drink making facilities in the room and the bathroom and toilet area were tired. We would use the hotel again. "

"The chalet accommodation is ideal for us and our two small dogs as we do not disturb the hotel guests if the dogs want an early morning toilet. The food in the restaurant was very nice but an “over the top” bar tender added farce to a lovely evening. We have stayed in the chalets for the last two years but no maintenance work has been done on faulty door handles and toilet flushes."

"A great hotel run by superb staff. Super friendly and helpful we would definitely stay here again. A spacious area for parking is directly in front of the building with easy access to reception. It’s very dog friendly - some hotel’s accommodate dogs but are barely tolerant this isn’t one of them. There are tracks to walk from the door in beautiful countryside. "We had a wonderful week at this beautiful gite. Brigitte and Lionel were very friendly and attentive to our needs.
