"However very hard to get to, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days on the island. It was quiet and safe and we felt very much at peace in our bure, thus the added bonus of its inaccessibility to the noisy public. The Fijian staff are amazingly friendly and welcoming. If there was a negative it would be the food/cooking quality. The breakfasts were outstanding but the buffet-style dinners and lunches were too bland and overcooked and became repetitive! "

"It's a very nice property and welcoming staff. The excursions to the Blue Lagoon cave and nearby snorkeling spots are fantastic. The only drawbacks are the property itself is on a beach with a rather murky reef with low visibility and the lighting inside the villas is poor. If you open the shades it gets too hot in the room and the electric lights in the room aren't strong enough. A skylight in each villa would make a big difference."

"This was pretty close to a perfect island vacation that I could imagine. The resort is small but we didn't get a sense of cabin fever. There are 3 pools and a nice stretch of beach with great snorkeling right there. Daily activities including snorkel by boat, guided hikes on surrounding islands, fishing, etc helped ensure there was always something to do. The food was fabulous with fine-dining experiences for dinner every night. The staff was friendly, chatting and seemed genuinely happy for us...

"I cannot say enough good things about my time at this resort. It definitely exceeded all of my expectations. The location is beautiful, the meals were good, the room (beachfront villa) was amazing and the staff were wonderful. The ONLY word of advice I have is to make sure you bring a few between meal snacks with you. There are no options to grab a little something to snack on after hours of snorkeling…. "The most perfect stay. The staff really do make the resort what it is and made us feel so welcome from the first minute until the last. Perfect location for snorkelling and kayaking. The view from the treetop bure was breathtaking although certain aspects of the room were a little tired and needed updating but this didn’t affect the trip at all. Would happily return to Nanuya."
