"We enjoyed a simple well-prepared meal at the hotel tavern and a quiet night's rest. The hotel is a 5-minutes country drive away from I-85, in a quiet, relatively dark location. "For $80 a night I was expecting something updated and without a loose toilet. The toilet was not secured to the floor, the gap under the door took two bath towels to block, but the staff was incredible. "

"Inexpensive, rural setting, nice desk staff. No cold water in sink (very hot water , difficult to even wash hands). Toilet wouldn’t refill to flush, had to add water to tank using a paper cup. Small leak from back of sink left puddle on floor. "

"We were in the area to spend time with my new son-in-law’s family for Thanksgiving so we rented this cottage. What a wonderful choice and we even were able to bring our dog! The cottage is decorated so nice, also, the beds were very comfortable. The place is pretty much spotless and the area was so tranquil. We would love to go back at some point and we will. We highly recommend!"
