"Snooze Station was simply the best accommodation I stayed at in Sri Lanka (from a whole mix of hostels, homestays, and hotels). "We really enjoyed our stay at Parawa House. We had a family room, which was perfect for us. The family who run the place are very friendly and helpful and make a lovely breakfast. The location was perfect too. The Wi-Fi connection wasn’t very strong in our room, but we were able to use communal areas to get Wi-Fi - which was essential for our preteens! A really lovely stay and we would return there if we came back to stay in Galle."

"Wow, we are lucky to have found the Taru Villas group and the 3rd property of theirs on our trip around Sri Lanka was more like staying in a luxury 5 star private catered villa with 2 to 1 staff to clients ratio! Beautiful period property, amazing staff and great food. Highly recommended!!"

"This is a lovely historic house presented with style and charm, and high standards. The staff provide the best service and are very attentive. Setting is just gorgeous with visiting shy groups of purple-faced leaf monkeys and peacocks passing through along the high walls and trees from time as you sit in the cool palm filled courtyards. And added, an excellent menu with both traditional and modern mix so well presented and tasty served in a lovely restaurant-bar setting on the deep verandahs. "

"The hotel has character but it is very basic. Breakfast is not available. There is no restaurant. The wifi mostly did not work. There was a complex device for showers that did not work properly and flooded the bathroom. The towels had seen better days. There was no TV. The room was not serviced in the three days I stayed in Galle. On the positive side, the location on Church St was excellent, the AC and fan both worked, there was a small fridge, and there was a pleasant balcony with chairs. The cost was about the same as the Ramada in Colombo, but there was no comparison in terms of comfort or amenities. I had completely the wrong impression of this very small hotel from the Expedia description."

"Lovely place, great A/C and very well located. The service from the staff was excellent - they were very kind to us when we accidentally overstayed our booking. Extremely grateful to be able to stay another night in this lovely place - would highly recommend for your stay in Galle!"
