You’ll fall in love with the spectacular oceanfront views in this secure, gated-community home located right on the water at the eastern tip of Nassau near Palm Cay Marina & Beach Club. Enjoy swimming, kayaking and snorkelling literally on your doorstep, sunrise and moonrise off the back patio - and in winter you can also watch the awesome sunsets. Great family getaway
Our family of four had an excellent stay at Sunrise by the Sea. The house has everything you need! Paola’s recommendations really helped make the stay excellent. We enjoyed two days on the water with Bay West Adventures and a few nights with Chef Andrew. Highly recommend each. We hope to be back soon!

Wonderful except for the bug bites
The house is beautiful and it is right on the ocean. Kayaking was fun. I don't think this is the owner's fault, but I received over 200 bug bites and 2 of them became infected, landing me in the hospital for a short period once I came back home.

We had a wonderful stay here! The house is beautiful! We had a great time snorkeling, kayaking, and just relaxing. The property owners are very responsive and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic!
We had such an amazing vacation at Sunrise by the Sea. Your house is beautiful and it was perfect for our family. We could tell you take a lot of pride in the home, which made it a joy to stay in for the week we were there. We loved exploring the tide pools every day, kayaking and snorkeling. Each day was a different adventure.

Paradise, a true escape !
Probably the most real vacation from the real world we have had. No comparison ! House was right on the edge of the island.. amazing. The local beach was so perfect. We will be back without a doubt. Highly recommended!

We Loved Our Stay!!!!
We loved our stay at Sunrise by the Sea! The property is absolutely beautiful, and very comfortable for our family of 4. Our kids enjoyed snorkeling and saw all kids of sea creatures! Paola was fantastic to communicate with, and her recommendations were spot on! We had an amazing meal with Chef Andrew, and a day of boating fun with Captain Andy’s friend, Diver Dave. We can’t wait to return!

The pictures don’t do this place justice. Right when you walk in you are greeted with two sets of double doors overlooking the water. Security was awesome, home was clean and snorkeling/kayaking was great. I would definitely recommend. 10 out of 10

Everything about our stay was perfect! The house was truly amazing with everything a family needs to enjoy their vacation. The views, beach, and surrounding area were breathtaking and safe. Paola was organized and made everything so easy. I would highly suggest following her recommendations about shopping, food, etc. We are already trying to figure out when we can stay at Sunrise by the Sea again!

Family vacation
This home is amazing I think it does matter if you’re wanting a lot of night life or a peaceful, quiet and relaxing vacation this home is the one I don’t think I’ve ever relaxed and enjoyed a vacation like I did in this home, waking up grabbing coffee sitting on the porch getting mesmerized by the view and sea air. Quick note it is away out but it’s away from the crowd, we didn’t rent a car used a taxi and had chef Andrew come and cook a couple nights would recommend!

Yes this property is just like the pictures - Beautiful! We had 6 adults and 2 children. The ocean pool in back of the home was great for the kids. There were also a few other "ocean pools" right down the beach. Palm Cay, the community next door has a great restaurant The Pink Octopus. Chef Andrew was an amazing home chef. Wish we would have booked him for the first night of our stay in Paradise - he was an abundance of information and an outstanding chef. We all liked that we were away from the hustle of downtown Nassau. Highly recommend this home.

Beautiful Home right on the water!
The house has been recently remodeled and is lovely. We spent most of our evenings on the back porch watching the sunsets! The house is in a gated community and we felt very safe. Paola recommended several restaurants nearby that were wonderful. We rented a car with Sand Dollar rental and that was also very easy. All of her recommendations were great! The house has plenty of space and all new appliances. There are kayaks that you can use and an assortment of beach accessories.

Amazing Experience
We have not arrived home yet but we are excited to write a review about this amazing house. Location, location, location! The house was well appointed , clean, and spacious. Having the beach right at our back door was the best part. We watched sunrises, sunsets , and we were even blessed with a rainbow over the ocean one day after a rain. It was a plus to have kayaks, snorkeling gear, and beach shoes at our disposal. Paola and Johnny were very attentive to our questions and needs. You will love this home! We hope to be back again !

Better than the pictures!
We've stayed in our fair share of beach rentals, this was our 1st international trip though. 4 of us needed some R&R after a rager of a music cruise. Was a quick flight from FLL, used the recommended Sand Dollar Rental (who were also very very nice to deal with, I had contacted them the day prior and they were able to get the car there earlier) Paola was spot on with all the info we knew we'd need and didnt know we needed to know to have the best time possible. We took advantage of the grill most nights we ate at home. House is very well stocked. We were happy to add to the house spice collection and grateful for what was left by previous guests. Had a few fun nights playing cards when the rain came. Driving on the left was fun! We made it all the way around the and enjoyed a few different beaches. Cabbage beach on paradise island was breathtaking! Downtown was fun! Hope we can get back to paradise sooner than later!

A family trip to remember
We had planned this Bahama family trip when covid first started, booking and canceling for a few year. Paola was so easy to work with and very understanding. The house is truly a hidden gem. You could not ask for a better situated location with one of the clearest turquoise waters ive ever seen. The house was clean and spacious for our group of 8. Perfect for a 3 year old! Use of the kayaks was great and we even brough 2 inflatable paddle boards to venture around the calm clear waters. Nights spent playing board games and watching the stars. Overall a family trip to remember and looking forward to a future stay. Thank you Paola!!

Private beach retreat
This rental house is amazing and a perfect vacation location! The house was very clean and comfortable with plenty of amenities provided by our host. I loved having the private beach and ocean access from the back patio. A perfect place to sit and listen to the waves to relax. The house has a few kayaks for use, lots of sizes of water shoes, beach towels and snorkeling gear if needed. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you might need to cook meals. The location is ideal. There is a grocery store within a mile of the house which makes it very easy to shop and have meals at the house. We rented a car. Most of the restaurants and beaches are a short drive to the north side of the island. We especially enjoyed some of the closer restaurants called Wild Thyme and the Poop Deck. Downtown Nassau is easy to access from this house also for any sight seeing or shopping. Paola is a wonderful host and I would absolutely stay here again!

Paradise on the beach
We really enjoyed our stay. It is close to downtown and all the fun! I would recommend going to Solomons grocery store close to the house, as apposed to Harbour Bay.. (it's pretty expensive) There is also a liquor store right down the street from the home and ice cream across the street at the entrance. We really enjoyed going down to Potters Cay under the bridge to Paradise Island. There are many stalls of authentic Bahamian food and we ate at Archie's and spoke to a nice man named Greg. It is a very private home on the beach and we did go swimming in the ocean at night and the water was awesome. Don't forget to bring your water shoes as it is a little rocky in the water. When going to the grocery store, no need to purchase bottled water, as there are water jugs in the home. If you want a quiet and relaxing time in the Bahamas, this is the place for you! 😃

Cool Bahama Breezes
The house, its location and the life style it supports was just what my wife and three children hoped to find. A room for everyone was great. Our teenager really appreciated the downstairs suite. The air conditioning, wifi, and cable were a wonderful luxury when we wanted them, but the views and immediate access to clear blue water were the main reason for the visit. The large covered back porch was the perfect place to sit and stare, read, fall asleep, eat, drink, whatever. We enjoyed snorkeling around the man-made breakwater and the nearby coral beds. Kayaking out and around the area was fun for everyone. The best aspect of the house may be the two freshwater outdoor showers, one at normal height next to the stairs and the other for the feet located at the top of the stairs. Highly recommend this house for everything we had hoped to do - relax and reconnect as a family in an idyllic surrounding. Paola was attentive to our needs and a pleasure to meet. Thank you for the vacation memories. They will always rank at the top of our list.

Amazing
Our best VRBO experience to date. The house is amazing, with a warm, comfortable, inviting vibe. The views from the shaded back deck are phenomenal. We spent hours and days kayaking, snorkeling and swimming right out back. Experienced all sorts of see life from fish to sting rays to anemones. Some days were smooth as glass, others a bit wavy but the water structures provided a great safe place for the kids to swim. Definitely wear water shoes. Lots of glass in the sand. I don’t believe it is from house guests or even from the neighborhood area... we explored many secluded beaches across the island and every one had random glass in the sand. After exploring the island we had an appreciation for the secure, gated neighborhood. The grocery store just outside the development was super convenient with a decent selection. Most nights the ocean breeze kept us cool and the bugs away. Some spots on the island we visited felt stifling hot. We were always happy to return to this little piece of paradise. Paola was super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend! We stayed 8 nights and I wish we could have stayed 8 more.

Phenomenal
I can't say enough great things about this house, and the entire rental process. Paola was very easy to communicate with before, during and after our stay. We took a girls trip to Nassau and wanted somewhere safe, but beach front. This house is definitely both of those. There was ample room for all 8 of us, we never felt crowded. It is beautifully decorated. Plenty of towels, beach towels, and other necessities. The beachfront access makes it easy to use the provided kayaks and snorkel gear. Treasure Cove being gated gives you a sense of safety. The house is fully stocked, they have literally thought of everything you could need during your stay. Ample supplies for cooking, and relaxing. Yoga on the upstairs lanai was the perfect start to each morning. The house also had a yoga mat, they literally thought of everything! The neighborhood is also perfect for a nice morning or evening walk to get some exercise in while on vacation. We used Chef Andrew per the other reviews and he did not disappoint. Highly recommend the Jerk Chicken and Fried Snapper. It was amazing! We used Captain Andy, and the boat day with him was quite possibly our favorite day of our trip. He is very knowledgeable and gave us enough time to enjoy snorkel spots, as well as Rose Island. Highly recommend. SugarMama’s to have a birthday cake delivered and it did not disappoint. Beautifully decorated and delicious. It was a beautiful stay and we can't wait to go back!

House is lovely, Nassau itself - not so much
Sunrise by the Sea is terrific - exactly as advertised. Everything worked well. We emailed Paola about small issues and they were fixed fast. She and hubby John were wonderful. Mid-January was not quite warm enough to really enjoy being in the water but it sure was lovely, reading and dozing by the surf. Charcoal grill worked well. Nassau, however, was not a great environment. People were GREAT but the environment seems to be permeated by a fear of armed robbery. Nearly every home was surrounded by substantial metal or concrete fences, some with razor wire. You have to be buzzed into nearly every store with impressive security guards in many. For us, it was uncomfortable and a big turn-off. Parking downtown is a challenge - doable, but not simple and there are no buses to downtown from Treasure Cove. We grocery shopped around the corner at Solomons. Worked well for us and had most everything we wanted. But, had very little in the way of sugar-free soda (no diet coke or pepsi) and had no lean cuisines or the like. (we were told that diabetes is rampant.) Oddly, lots of very good pork meat at good prices which grilled nicely. We enjoyed the Bites of Nassau Food Tasting and Cultural Walking Tour with Captain Ron and went back later for take-out from Bahamian Cookin' - good stuff. I was unable to find one liquor store having all the things I wanted - the ones I went to were all pretty small with limited inventory - but was able to get what I wanted by buying from multiple stores.
