The hotel is in a very good location if you want to explore the surronding Naruto Park area. They also have a public bath with a spectacular view of the Naruto Bridge, best seen in the morning/daytime
I did not know must have meal reservation with accomodation. There are no place to have dinner with in walking distance. I have to take a taxi to about 15miles a way. My room was 8'x17' just like strage room, bath rooms is very samll.
Hotel.com shuld not have take a reservation room like this.
Expensive room with meal reservation are may be fine.
Food, view and site excellent. Room big and attended to well with dinner served into room. Air conditioner could not handle the heat through hot summer. They supplied a portable cooler as well to help out the heat movement in room. Pity as the rest of stay was great.
Check in was very smooth. The staff were well prepared for our arrival. Once we have parked our car, the staff immediately helped us with our luggage and ushered us to our room where the check-in is done. Everything was explained to us in Japanese but I understood some Japanese so we did not have much issues. The service was top-notch and really embraced the concept of "Omotenashi" which is Japanese hospitality simply.
The room was clean and spacious. It also had an amazing view of the Onaruto bridge and the whirlpools at the specific timings. The onsen in the ryokan was also fantastic and my family and I throughly enjoyed the onsen.
I will definitely be back for another stay at Naruto at this ryokan. Definitely worth the price that I have paid which included delicious dinner and breakfast.
10/10 for this property.
Located on the edge of a cliff of Naruto, the hotel offers a breathtaking view of the Onaruto Bridge and its multiple whirlpools underneath it.
Its not the most luxurious or the most modern facility but its view, bathing facilities and decent meals more than make up for the few shortcomings
