This property includes a four-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath Pottery Barn-inspired main house and an ADDITIONAL family room/guest suite on the walkout lower level. The suite is equipped with a kitchenette, queen sized bed in the sleeping area, and a fourth bathroom adding even more flexibility to this beautiful coastal home. Truly a two for one home and condo feel. Custom-built and tastefully designed for entertaining with a comprehensive open floor plan and attention to detail throughout. Perfect for family getaways, reunions, URI graduations,. and local wedding accommodations. Comfortable for as little as 4 to as many as 10. The Harbour Island community is nestled on a peninsula that jets into the salt pond. Enjoy barbecuing on our expanded deck leading onto a stone patio and one of the largest backyards on the island or walk down the street to kayaking, clamming, and paddle boarding on Point Judith Pond. A waterfront hiking trail is also located just around the corner. Our property is surrounded by four of Narragansett’s finest beaches just minutes away, and up the street from a quaint private association beach/swim area (the dock is for members only). Close to the Pier, restaurants, fresh seafood, farmers market, shopping, Block Island ferry, Newport festivals, and town center.

ALL LINENS INCLUDED - Bath towels, beach towels, blankets, and coverlets are provided. Fresh sheets arrive at your front door the day of your arrival from our vacation rental linen service at no charge. Simply bag them in the satchel they arrived in at check-out.
We want you to enjoy your stay and not have to pack incidentals. Dish soap, laundry detergent, bath tissue, paper towels, trash bags, and beach chairs are all on site.

- 7-night minimum, late June to mid-September. Rentals are from SATURDAY to SATURDAY unless monthly or discussed with the owner. Short and long-term stays are available the rest of the year with check-in any day.
- 3-night minimum shoulder and winter seasons at discounted rates.
- Must be at least 25 years old to book
- Signed rental agreement required
- Strict cancellation policy per VRBO guidelines

Wow! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! From the decor and location to the cleanliness to the excellent communication with Joe our host, it was the perfect place to stay. House fully stocked and supplied with everything you could need for a beautiful getaway. Extended family trip for my mom’s 70th birthday
Love our time at this property. The house was perfect for our extended family (3 families) to spread out. My mom had the entire lower level apartment to herself and it worked out really well. We spent a lot of time in Newport and loved it there. Easy drive from this house. Great responsive hosts. Thanks for a great stay! My only recommendation would be to swap out the ceiling lights in the bedrooms for fans.

Great home for multi-generational family stay
My wife and I, plus kids and grandkids were able to fit comfortably in this well appointed home. Large backyard and great proximity to beaches and venues in both Narragansett and Newport. Also, nice quiet neighborhood. We all really enjoyed our time here.

Great spot!
Our stay at the Harbour Island house was wonderful. It's in a lovely area within a few minutes drive to the ocean. The house is comfortable and spacious and very nicely decorated. Our group of five women had a great long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the house and surrounding area. Our entire experience including dealing with Joe, the homeowner, was absolutely great. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

Beautiful Home in Narragansett
We had a wonderful stay with friends in Narragansett. The house was perfect. Everyone had plenty of room and the house was beautifully decorated. It was nestled into a quite neighborhood but was a short drive from everything you could need (grocery store, gas stations, restaurants and even a cute brewery that we stumbled upon!) We had a great time exploring the area during the day and coming back to the house in the evening to hang out. The owner was extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at the property again.

Wonderful family weekend
Our family of 8, ranging from 18 to 91, had a fantastic weekend in this beautiful house. The neighborhood is lovely, we enjoyed the walks to the beach and on the trails. One can easily tell that the owners really care about their property, it is well maintained, tastefully decorated and very comfortable for everyone! Joe was very responsive and helpful! We would love to return sometime!

We had an awesome time! The house was really nice. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing I might suggest is that the owner but some new bath towels. (the towels were old/worn and there were not enough wash cloths to accommodate our party of 8; house was listed as a house for 10) Other than the towels, everything else was great!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable for all four couples. We accidentally locked ourselves out and the owner responded immediately and solved the problem. Our only hiccup was that we did not realize that we needed to bring soap. Would recommend this home to anyone.

Another 5+ Star Experience in Harbour Island
Joe and Katie have created a one-of-a-kind, unmatched vacation experience in Rhode Island. From a fully stocked house of essential amenities/cookware to a house design that is perfect for our families there is no detail that is missed. The large backyard, short stroll to the private beach, and 5minute drive to our favorite larger beach (Scarborough) makes for a premier location. Amazing Family Friendly Home
This was one of the best home we have stayed in at Scarborough beach. We have 3 children 11 weeks,4 and 8 year olds. We got to celebrate our 8 year olds birthday at the house and it was her favorite memory of the whole vacation. The house is comfortable, clean, and has great space for all 10 of us to gather together at night to play games. We will be back again.

Harbour Island Vacation Escape
Katie and Joe were excellent hosts. The house was well designed for extended family groups. Katie and Joe gave a lot of thought to items that might be needed to make the vacation stress and glitch free. The neighborhood is quiet and the backyard flat and grassy - perfect for wiffle ball. We preferred going to Scarborough Beach or Wheeler Beach, both less than 3 or 4 miles away. Stop & Shop is nearby. Some great hiking trails along the ocean and wonderful restaurants all make this a terrific place to stay.

Beautiful coastal retreat!
We had a great time at the Pottery Barn beach house with our group of lifelong friends for 4th of July week! The house was beautiful & clean, had tons of space, a huge yard for lawn games, and everything we needed for cooking and celebrating the 4th! Harbour Island is a peaceful, adorable escape and we loved exploring the beach area right down the street and escaping to Block Island with just a short drive down to the ferry! We appreciate all of Joe’s communication and helpfulness throughout our stay and felt comfortable and safe. Thanks for allowing us to reunite from all across the country to experience a picturesque New England summer!

Another fabulous week
This is our second year enjoying Narragansett and this home. Myself, husband, and three kids all had such a blast! The location is perfect for day trips to Block Island, Watch Hill, and we even visited the aquarium in Mystic. When we stayed in Narragansett we spent the days enjoying the beautiful, very family friendly, Roger Wheeler beach. There is minimal traffic and parking is a breeze. One week wasn’t nearly enough so we’re hoping to extend our stay to two weeks next summer!

Fun Fabulous Family Home
My blended family had such a wonderful time in this vacation home. It has the best space for a family. Everyone got to scout out their bedrooms which were so spaced out and comfortable.
