"First thing to say is that the staff were great. The location is fabulous but the place is a little tired. The room was lovely but (here’s an example of tired) the bathroom window was warped so wouldn’t close. The restaurant/bar was closed so there was no place to go other than our room. It also meant, of course, that we had to find somewhere to eat each night and, as the WiFi signal was poor in our room and there was no phone signal, making bookings was not easy. "The hotel is pristine and beautiful. The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. However, our room was absolutely freezing. The radiator in room 1 was horrible. During the day when I took a nap before a 4 hour tasting menu, I had to sleep fully clothed with my wool scarf/hat and coat on. It was incredibly frustrating but a staff member bled our radiator so it was warmer when we got back to the hotel around midnight. My friends enjoyed the breakfast. "
