"We really enjoyed our stay in Aix @ des Augustins. The location was excellent - right off Cours Mirabeau and a wonderful little square with restaurants and pubs. A little rocky start as the room with terrace I booked (via description and pictures) did not exist. I’m not sure if this was an error on Expedia or hotel description of rooms; but, I was disappointed upon arrival. We were given the deluxe room that I booked, but no terrace, just windows. I was offered the comfort room with a terrace the next morning, but the room and bath were extremely tiny and there is no elevator to the third floor. We stayed in the larger room, which was a wonderful size (with sofa and twin bed) (also the bath). With the rain, we weren’t likely to use the terrace anyway. The bath has a huge jetted tub with handheld shower and no glass, so not easy to shower. Some noise from rooms above. Carpet in room a little worn, but everything seemed clean. Bonus: the room had both a coffee pod machine and kettle for tea - website had said these only bailable in common areas, so a big plus! Beautiful common areas and very receptive and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel in Aix! "

"I travel the world for a living and stay at many hotels. Not an active reviewer, but want to make sure I give my positive feedback for Okko Hotels Toulon. Impressive customer service and friendly staff - I LOVE ‘the club’ - it’s my morning coffee, my office, and truly enjoy the little Happy Hour in the evening with snacks, local wine and beer. Staff is extremely attentionate and scores high on personal service. Highly recommend this place as ‘the hotel’ downtown Toulon."

"The hotel was great. The room was big and nice, everything was super clean, the staff very friendly, and breakfast was very complete. Parking was very easy, in a garage that’s like one block away from the hotel, and which you pay for at the reception when you check out. The spa was also very complete and very fun. Finally, the location is perfect. You can walk around the city and reach anywhere in a few minutes. Would definitely stay again."

"We had a great stay at ibis Marseille Centre Gare Saint Charles! The hotel and its facilities were clean and well-kept. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and answered our questions about our scheduled train ride. While smoking is very common in Europe, it is good to keep in mind (especially if you or your young children are sensitive to the smell) that some cigarette smoke may come through your window from the café below - we didn’t mind too much ourselves. The best feature of the hotel is that it is steps away from Gare Saint-Charles station (major train station) which is extremely convenient if you have an early-morning train ride like we did! "

"Comfortable rooms with access to the great hotel restaurant at all hours. Best meal we had in Marseille was a dinner at the hotel. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Fun and vibrant decor. Short walk to Old Port and most of Marseille. Staff very friendly and able to help us in English. We highly recommend Mama Shelter!"
