"Arrived at hotel at 14.10 to find hotel closed and a note on door saying “closed until 17.00” we called a number left on the door and after pleading with the lady she returned 20 mins later. We checked in and were charged a few euros more than that stated on the booking. We were so tired after driving from the uk we just paid and went to the room. On a positive note the restaurant next door is excellent. There is also a very good wine shop one door along from the restaurant. "

"A charming old mill full of character and well presented. Dinners were quite superb with excellent food and service. Aircon in room was much appreciated. Tall people beware - low beams and doorways upstairs in bedroom and corridors but it adds to the character! Garden and terrace very nice but you do need a car to get anywhere, which wasn't a problem for us. We'd stay again. No tea/coffee making facility in room."

"After a long drive from Calais, a perfect place to stay in the quiet of the countryside. A warm friendly welcome, spacious rooms, an excellent restaurant, even catering for my wife, vegetarian, and myself with a dairy product allergy. We had a great meal washed down with some good very local wine. We were so relaxed, we slept in by an hour more than usual"
