I appreciated the location; on the outskirts of the centre, so you're close to everything but not sureounded by tourists all the time. The cottage is small, but enough space for the three of us and lovely to have some outside space to use. "My son and I stayed at the cottage as we waited for our new home to become available, and it served as our first step in our new life in the area. It provided much-needed comfort and cosiness in a transitional period of our lives, as we explored the area and my son began his time in a new school. The owner was very responsive to questions. It definitely has a lived-in vibe: the owner lives there when not away, and it gives the property a very particular character!"

"We had a fantastic week at Star Gazy. The cottage was spacious, light, bright, clean and so well equipped! Location is in a really quiet street but still only a 2 minute walk to Porthmeor beach. We loved wandering down at night and watching the sunset. Outside tap so useful for washing wetsuits. Car park a bonus. We would definitely return. "

"An amazing Christmas break with family from the moment we walked in.Check in process with David was fantastic showing us the facilities,We were greeted with welcome goodies for an afternoon tea The house is big and immaculate, the bathrooms are stunning and the photos do not do it justice . The best part is you ate literally on the beach and every morning we took the dogs for a walk and in the evening we took hot chocolates and watched the waves. "Beautifully decorated, cosy and comfortable and only a mile to lovely Holywell Bay which is one of the best dog friendly beaches in Cornwall in our opinion. Shop, bakery/deli and fish and chip shop close by. Loads of great coastal walks nearby and so many lovely beaches, pubs and places of interest to visit. Particularly like all the old mine engine houses dotted around and the local history about mining, fishing. Will definitely be returning. "
