"Nice apartment in quiet residential area. AC worked well. Short drive to restaurants, grocery and several beaches. A small check in issue was quickly redolved by staff. They were excellent to work with. "

"Terry made our stay very comfortable through her personal greeting and tour of the cottage once we arrived, as well as all amenities available such as fresh eggs and bananas. The cottage and surrounding property are stunning, and her cute cat who lives on the lenai loved to hang out with us. Only wish we could have stayed longer, would stay here again! "

"A beautiful property and welcoming host! We enjoyed waking up to a 180 degree of the ocean and beautiful surroundings. It was so peaceful and exactly what we were hoping for in a more relaxed vacation. We did not use the outdoor kitchen so cannot speak to preparing food at the unit attached to the host's house, but wanted to recommend planning ahead for meals given the more remote location (whether you're making yourself with the available camping stove or making a run into town). Tasty food trucks and restaurants in Hana (about a 30 minute drive) and very close to Haleakala National Park. Thank you Mercury and Sam for the delightful stay!"

"We were looking for a place to begin the Road to Hana. This location in Haiku was perfect. We were able to get an early start the next day to beat the crowds. We stayed here again on the way back after our stay in Hana. Very quiet neighborhood. Close to Paia town where there are little shops and great eateries: fish, flatbread, ice cream, shave ice, etc. I got here a couple minutes before check in at 4 but received no communication from the owner on how to check in. Apparently the email doesn’t go out until after 4:00 though the confirmation email said it would go out the morning of your stay. However this was quickly resolved."

"The property was perfect for our family with an 8 and 10 year old. The kids slept on the lanai and were very comfortable. It really felt like you were out in nature. John was welcoming and the fresh bananas were great. We split our trip up with one week here and one week on the south shore and we’re very happy we did. "

"Gorgeous little suits. Open air and worth it for the experience you get. I won't ruin the surprise, but absolutely gorgeous location. Try to get a top floor, as in the bottom level we heard our upstairs neighbors every move. Everyone was pretty mellow and quite by about 9. "
