Check-in was OK, and the staff is friendly. Amenities are the bare minimum for a Japanese hotel. However, the building and rooms are veery old, and due for a renovation or demolishing. The unit bathroom was tiny and nasty (not cleaned properly at all). The room itself cramped, smelly (despite being non-smoking), and with barely any room to even put down your stuff; the few surfaces available (one small table and a nightstand) are already occupied by junk. Closet (if it can even be called that) will barely hold 3 hangers. Overall, nasty, cramped, and super disappointing for the price. DO NOT pay more than 3000 yen to stay here. Also, big security concern: elevator leading to guest rooms opens directly to street, so people can go in and out without being seen by front desk. Super sketchy.
