We loved it!

We loved this hotel! The staff was so sweet and super helpful, they went above and beyond to sit down with us and suggest restaurants in the area. They also had snacks and special hair care/ face oils, creams, etc. in the lobby which is always amazing!!

The hotel is near Sakae area which is convenient for shopping and food. There is a bus stop for express bus to Nagoya Chubu Centrair International Airport in the opposite side of the hotel.

They have a suitcase scale to check the weight prior to going to the Chubu Airport. Japan Airlines 23 kilo maximum per checked luggage to USA. For a large person who is disabled the bathrooms do not have safety hand rails to go in and out of the shower tub.

An enjoyable stay at Hotel Silk Tree Nagoya

It was an amazing experience. The hotel staff named Mr. Ishimoto gave us great recommendations on restaurants, places to see, and transportation options. On top of that, he spoke fluent English.

There's no doubt that it is affordable hotel and amenities are really good. The things that I don't like is contrary to what they say, train station is not that close and train station only has stairs so it's difficult if you have big luggage. Our floor is quite noisy, would be better if we were put where majority are women (like in the 3rd floor where it is secure). The only convenience store close to it is Family Mart. You have to walk a bit and cross the street for 7-11 store. Lastly, reception people do not really speak english so it's so hard to communicate. I think only one woman is good in english but yeah you won't know her regular shift.

Great Service, great amenities, great price

Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. They have so many amenities and very convenient. The price is amazing for what you get. They have plenty of outlets to charge your devices. Everything is clean. Fun shared bathroom experience. They also have coin laundry which is super helpful especially in the middle of my trip.

Spacious!

Location near Fushimi Station and Sakae Station. Twin room was very spacious, tho layout was inefficient. Shower curtain had an unpleasant smell. No cleaning (3days) Hotel reception staff were very friendly and accommodating.

For budget accommodation, this property was good value. Staff were friendly and helpful (completed our paper work for luggage forwarding). We had a twin room roadside facing which was quite spacious compared to similar hotels. It was very clean but was looking quite worn in some places. Reception had a range of products such as razors, sponges and pajamas to use during your stay. Position was not too far too walk to a lot of shops and restaurants and transport.

I heard heavy things moving till 2:00 am and the room felt like things moved were hitting against the wall. I know it is a smoking room but it is smelly. Don’t know if it was staff or tenants but it was noisy. The staff were very nice though. Lobby nicely decorated for Halloween. Coffee and tea in the lobby were very generous and good quality.
