"This was our first experience staying in a gîte in rural France and we really couldn’t have wished for a better start. The gîte itself is beautiful and incredibly well equipped, everything has been thought of. The gîte is very well laid out with a mix of modern facilities and amenities, combined with the rustic and charming characteristics of a French rural house. It has been decorated to a very high standard. The local village is incredibly charming with beautiful countryside surrounding it making the property an ideal location if you have a dog. Within a 20 minute drive you have access to a number of larger towns with a multitude of shops, restaurants and activities that can meet all your needs. The pool is located in the back garden and is stunning and well maintained. The garden itself is beautifully kept and huge with plenty of space for kids to run around. Now onto the best bit…. the hosts. Simon and Dickson are incredibly kind, genuine and hospitable people. Nothing was too much trouble and they made an enormous effort to make all the family feel welcome and special. We can’t thank them enough for a truly memorable and amazing family holiday. Xxx"

"There are so many positive things to say about our stay I don't know where to start! This time last week we were sat eating a meal under the abri- tonight I have secured our 2 week visit for 2025. If that doesn't assure anyone of how much we fell in love with the venue, the pool and of course the hosts I don't know what would. The place is a piece of heaven that I am so thankful we found. Tony and Lisa are the most amazing hosts - the surrounding villages are beautiful, hubby found some fab cycling routes. But if you are like me and just want to go away and relax, this is the most beautiful setting. I have never ended a holiday not ready for my home conforts - I was genuinely sad to end this holiday! Our best family holiday yet!! "

"We have just had a great week at David’s house. 2 families with late teens and we had plenty of room. The kitchen is massive and has everything you need and more. The bedrooms had very comfy beds and plenty of plug sockets. There is also a huge lounge with extra dining area and TV. The pool was fantastic, we all felt very relaxed by the end of the week. The town is only a 5 min walk away, with a small shop and a couple of restaurants. We ate in Chez Plissy, lovely food and wine. Another bonus for us was the dark sky, we saw more stars than anywhere before and plenty of shooting stars too. Overall a great holiday home with a fantastic host who couldn’t have done more for us. Would definitely recommend."

"A charming selection of several stone-built gites that are set in a peaceful location yet only a 5 minute drive from a couple of villages and the magnificent Chateau de Biron. Our hosts Tony and Lisa were superb and our gite offered everything we needed. The gites, grounds and gardens were very well maintained as was the fabulous swimming pool. We will definitely be making a return visit."
