"I stayed here while visiting my UW student - it's just a short drive to campus - and it was nice to come back to such a quiet and peaceful retreat at the end of the day. There is a full kitchen in the cottage but also plenty of good food and coffee within walking distance. I appreciated the extra blankets since I like to sleep cold under a huge pile of blankets. Very clear instructions about location and access. Super cute and comfy!"

Unfortunately on our first night we were woken by rodents in the ceiling and walls. I made owner aware and she apologized. I emailed her two more times about the same issue. No response which was disappointing. There was no sign of the rodents in the actual house or we would have left. I would have thought this kind of inconvenience would get more than an apology. "Second time we’ve stayed here. Once this summer when it was sunny and now this rainy fall. What a cozy sweet place in great spot with a wonderful view! Maybe the only downside is the sulfury tap/shower water from the well. There’s bottled water to use but the shower is maybe the only less than perfect thing here."

"The property is very charming and cozy, and it's located right across from a high school. There aren't many parking spots during the day, but there are plenty in the evening. While I was there, the power went out around 2 or 3 AM after I used the stove in my room. I texted the property owner, not expecting them to answer so late, but I was happy when they replied quickly. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely think about coming back again!"
