"The apartment looked clean on arrival but hadn't been cleaned in all the nooks and crannies. Saucepans were dirty, towels were small and seen better day's. Could only get channel 4, film 4 and BBC on the TV and that was intermittent, when it rained we could only get film 4.Only 1 chair for the beach, this was rectified but took over a week.Blinds in one bedroom were a bit dodgy and easily went up to far and you had to get your hand up inside to release it. "This house has everything you need and is in a lovely neighbourhood. Our days were spent down in Altea followed by a teatime game of tennis. Peter who is the local contact was so friendly and was there within 30 minutes when we ran out of hot water. He made us feel nothing was too much trouble and insisted we call him even at night ifwe had any problems. "For the money the facilities are ideal, we had two bathrooms and two bedrooms plus plenty of space. Not the most luxurious but it didn’t cost the earth. If you want somewhere clean to stay, this is ideal a little bit out of the way but there are free transfers 50m down the road that run regularly."

"This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. It is definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in….and I have stayed in great many. The food is delicious and there is a huge variety. Staff are attentive and extremely hard working. Rooms are lovely….book one with a sea view if possible. My partner uses a walking frame…the hotel and location are very disabled friendly…he had a great time and didn’t want to leave! Hopefully we will be back."

Enjoyed my stay at Hotel Gran Bali

"I’ve enjoyed my holiday at Gran Bali hotel Benidorm. Cleanliness and comfort. Given a sea view as requested and the view and room were very pleasant Restaurant was clean and staff helpful if needed. Only issue was the long queues to buy a drink in the island bar. Especially in the late afternoon. Only 1 staff making coffees. Cocktails and other drinks taking time before you can be served. I can imagine this will be worse when hotel full. Staff were pleasant though. No signs to say where the spa is . Prices were on display which appeared expensive Entertainment was missing but out of season and we wanted a peaceful holiday. Public bus and taxi to the Old Town cheap. A few miles out or an hour walk. Beautiful and clean beaches and promenade Hot Food as other reviews tends not to be. But there is plenty of choice and plentiful. Especially breakfast was very good. "
