"This lush, green and serene property tucked away from the hustle-bustle of Mumbai is well designed & properly maintained. The pool view rooms are spacious with ample terrace space, which is very nice. The pool is large, though on the shallow side. The River Pej flows gently by, creating a serene ambience. As far as the human aspect is concerned, Mr. Ganesh, Mr. Vaibhav and Mr. Mangal are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, warm and welcoming. The restaurant staff are also efficient and helpful. There is ample scope for activities, from cycling and horse riding to zip lining and kayaking. The owner has a wonderful green thumb and creates awesome bonsai. The only, and minor, downside is that the food is average. Overall, it's a wonderful place for a short, enjoyable holiday. P. S. While you're there don't forget to drive over to Matheran and tour the place on horseback for some lovely scenery. P. S.2 There are other places for hikes, such as Kondhane Caves as well as hilltop forts within easy access. Enjoy!"

"Staying at this hotel was not without its challenges. I appreciated that it was a brand new hotel (opened only 3 weeks before my stay). I think this was one of the reasons for the challenges. Hot water and proper water pressure was a problem. The cleaning staff would sometimes not replace the complementary bottles of water and toilet paper. However, towards the end of my stay they seemed to be prompt with it. Even though there were problems I did like that the staff would attempt to correct the issue. Some of the good things I have to say, is that the restaurant staff was amazing! The food was good, the wait staff was friendly and prompt. They went out of their way to accommodate you! I am hoping that some of the problems were simply due to a new hotel and that the staff needed to work out the kinks. All in all the hotel was good and I hope they improve for the future "
