"This was a nightmare from start to finish. The manager called the day we were meant to check in to ask us to check in late which we did because they were on holiday or there was a staff shortage or someone was sick - I couldn't keep up with what the problem was. When we arrived there was dirty underwear, dirty bedding, full garbage bins, a huge leak in the living room, 0 toilet paper, no shampoo, soap or coffee. They promised to get it cleaned which they did while we were out at dinner but the...

"The chalet was clean and comfortable with all required amenities. There was plenty of seating outside in both the shade and the sun and it’s own tucked away car parking space. There was a washing machine, bikes, kayak and table tennis available on site which was quiet and tucked away over a little bridge from the village road. "Have stayed at the westcord before and it’s always been a lovely hotel to stay at. It’s only 10mins from the airport by train and then a short walk and you are at the hotel. Tram ride to Leidseplein and from there you can walk to most places. Good transport links, nice breakfast with plenty of choices, rooms are spacious and comfortable and, for those days when you have walked lots, they have a pool and sauna on the bottom floors of the hotel. Overall a very good hotel that was perfect for our needs. Far enough away from the centre that it’s quiet and peaceful at night but still within walking distance to tram stops so you can travel further afield. Definitely would recommend this hotel again. "

"My wife and I stayed 4 nights in there. All staff were very kind. The shuttle bus service between Schiphol airport and this hotel was ever 20 minutes from early morning to late evening. It was very convenient. And the breakfast was prepared from 4am to 10:30am. It was also very good for our very early departure. Am looking forward to staying in this hotel when I will come to Amsterdam again. Thank you!"
