"Overall amazing place to stay if you have the chance! I stayed here for about a week as a solo traveler and being so close to the buses and close shopping mall was an unbeatable location! Highly recommend and what a little lovely experience. Thank you!!"

"Nice flat well equipped! The tramway station is a few minutes away and takes you to the city centre in 30 minutes. There is a small shopping centre nearby with a supermarket and a few restaurants. Very convenient indeed. "

"I loved this hotel. Our kitchen was well stocked, the decor was tasteful, and I loved the private sauna experience. I'd happily stay here anytime I'm in Amsterdam. It was away from the crowded areas, but right next to the trampoline stop "

"The July was absolutely lovely. I have OCD and will only stay where the place feels clean. The bathroom was spotless, the bed and bedding was clean (and comfortable - I slept like a baby) The staff were super friendly and gave us some really lovely restaurants to go and try (we’re foodies!!) and any bits missing from the room, they sorted in less than 5 minutes after calling the front desk. I could literally have stayed for another two weeks there to be honest and I’m hoping to come back asap...

"Overall, a very good stay. Amazing historic space with modern fit-out and amenities. Great location with a tram stop and line to key locations and central station very close by. Apartment was a little worn from use and some additional chairs for lounging and dining for 4 people would have been useful."

"Had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It is located about 5 mins walk away from the Central Amsterdam station and is fairly near to many attractions! Staff were very helpful and approachable. The rooms were huge and had kitchenette and washer / dryer. Perfect for couples and small families! "

"Good location for transport and walkable to shopping, trips and sights. Only thing dropping the rating was we were at the front of the building and it was noisy overnight. We were woken every night 2-3 times by noise from the streets. Otherwise great location and helpful staff. "

"Fantastic stay would stay again. The only improvement would be cleanliness as the microwave was dirty and no sheets were provided for the sofa bed. However they do have an essential cupboard which you can help yourself to stuff that is needed. "

"We really enjoyed our stay in Amsterdam. The apartment was located very conveniently for museums and galleries, as well as the proximity to the tram and restaurants. The neighbourhood is also a lovely place to wander about and felt safe during the evening (though, you take your life in your hands crossing the cycle lane). The owners are clearly still working on the property as there was a lot of banging and hammering at 7am which may not be ideal if you've had a late night or like to sleep in....

"It was nice and spacious for a family of 4 and right on a bus line directly to centraal station. The kids having their own bedroom and beds was a huge bonus. its out if the hotels control but the area around had homless people and was a bit unsafe grtting back later at night. "

"Loved the property — clean and quiet in that area. Bus to central station was nearby. Design of toilet floor could be better though. It was flooding as the water wasn’t directed to the drain and it flowed out of the toilet into the common area but nothing a towel can’t stop. Property was really pretty! Would stay again "

"Beautiful hotel, great staff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast and perfect location. For those that want a small town feel…Amsterdam is NOT the place to be. It’s a major city with traffic, noise, trash, construction and people having fun all night. But the Dikker is situated to take it all in…close to the Museum district, great food and shopping and perfect access to the canal boats or strolling up to the Jordan district. The room we had was very clean, the bed very comfortable and a great bathroom. The Staff were amazingly attentive and had advise on anything you wanted to do. Would stay there again in a heart beat. "

"I liked the staff members working at the front desk. They were very welcoming and assisted me with everything l needed and provided additional detail about the surrounding things to do around the hotel. There wasn't anything l didn't like. I definitely recommend this place and l will stay here again the next time l go there again "

"the rooms were very modern with lights being controlled from an ipad and a very nice design and clean!! each floor had a mini communal kitchen and lounging area which was very nice and a mini fridge inside room. would definitely recommend staying here. a downside is the hotel is about a 20/25 min drive from the main city centre. they allowed us to check in at 12 for free and a €15 euro for a late checkout till 1pm "
