"On our way to the summer Olympics we stopped in Amsterdam, looking for a unique experience. We booked this houseboat and found that exploring the city by day and staying on the boat at night was a fantastic way to begin our vacation. The boat is clean and surprisingly spacious and we loved sitting up on deck watching the the lights sparkling on the water and the perspective of all the water activity. Much better than a mundane hotel!"

"What a fun time, very unique stay in a boat. Lots of room for 3 of us and the deck was so awesome to sit and have a beverage after a day of sightseeing. Han was a great host and was very helpful with our stay and getting us around. Highly recommend."

"Ein Stern ist selbst zu viel!!! Achtung - Betrug!!! Das Boot was angeboten wird gibt es zwar aber wird ausschließlich bei booking angeboten. Wir standen vor nichts in Zaandam und mussten erst da hin fahren von Expedia aus bis wir Ersatz bekommen haben. Da hatten wir bereits 25,-€ Bahngeld bezahlt, was Expedia nicht interessiert hat. Wir hatten einen Tag vorher gelesen das es an dem Standort nicht existiert und am Anreisetag sofort Expedia kontaktiert. Die Kommunikation hat gut geklappt, nur...

"Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Boot ist sehr gemütlich und nach unseren Tagesausflügen nach Amsterdam und Delft haben wir Abends die Ruhe auf dem Boot sehr genossen, Jeden Tag ein neuer wunderschöner Sonnenuntergang. Unseren Töchtern (15 & 18) hat es auch sehr gefallen und das ist nicht immer sehr leicht zu gewährleisten ;-). Der Weg zum Supermarkt dauert zu Fuss schon 20 Minuten, wir hatten aber Mietfahrräder, so ging das sehr gut. Der Weg nach Amsterdam ist sehr gut mit ÖV...

"If you are going to stay in Amsterdam, do not hesitate to book this boat. Great time, great views. Owners are super friendly and do the most to make sure the you have a great stay, provide help and answer any questions you might have. This location is great, short walk or bus ride to central station on bus 43 was very convenient. Made our experience in Amsterdam an exceptional time!"

"We enjoyed two days and nights on this lovely houseboat just outside of Amsterdam center. Our host made everything easy with impeccable communication. The houseboat itself was a fun adventure and we so enjoyed being gently rocked to sleep while listening to the breeze, the waves, and night birds. The view of Amsterdam at night was magnificent. "The boat is very basic but is in a great location not far from the centre of old Amsterdam. (Ignore Diemen as the location). It’s very cheap for Amsterdam which makes up for its basic amenities. You can make use of facilities in nearby cafes and the Public library. The surrounding area is just off the tourist route so you get to see how locals live. Cees was a great host, very accessible and happy to help out and give advice."
