"This was a last minute trip for us with the intent of getting out into a bit of nature without a long drive and this was the perfect setting. The pond was lovely and the patio was the great place for the entire family to sit and observe the beauty of nature. Saw some deer and lots of birds!"

The house was nice, ample beds for my husband, my 2 sons & myself, comfortable, amazing antiques. IF I had more time, it would have been a beautiful float to the park stated in the info. "This is the house that you always wish your family had - the cabin or farm house that everyone went to as a group gathering or as a small retreat. The gathering rooms are huge, the beds are soft, and there is just a great feeling of peace. This trip for us was a one-off, we went for a wedding in the area, but if we ever have need to stay in the Austin area and can stay an hour away, this is where we will go back to. Loved it."
