"Minutes from Garden of the Gods and River to River Trail. Temps too hot so we tried to be on trail by 7:30. On dead end road but noisy compared where we live (not bad). Great wildflowers and birds. Loved having a full kitchen. My husband in hot every day."

"We loved our stay at The Southern. The property is amazing - beautiful, spacious, and wonderfully private. It's the perfect place to unplug from a busy life. The house is lovely and we immediately felt right at home. It's comfortable, spacious, and the kitchen has everything a home chef needs. We spent our mornings reading and playing guitar by the pond. Afternoons hiking at one of the many trails a short car ride away. We were sad to leave and definitely plan to return to this gem in the woods....

"The property is nice. They provide everything you need. The fire pit is lousy - to me, a ring of metal plopped on a sloped, gravel driveway is not a fire pit. The beds are nice but the bedding is pathetic."
