"The location, staff and hotel overall is very good. Its close to King John's Castle and many other historical sites. Note that footpaths are quite narrow around much of the town and not the easiest to cart around a suitcase that I discovered on the walk from the train station. "

"There is a large public playground across the street from the hotel. Live music in the attached pub, but it also wasn’t so loud that it would be audible in the room. Leisure centre had a pool and a gym. The gym is small but well appointed. We had the breakfast included and it had a good selection of Irish breakfast options and cold options like cereals and pastries. It is entirely walkable from the bus station and to all of the options around Gort. It would make a good base from which to visit Galway City and the Burren without dealing with Galway traffic. Good for families. Our room had one queen bed and two twin beds. "

"We stayed in the suites for a hen party. The rooms were so spacious and really comfortable. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. They went above and beyond for us and made the weekend so easy for us. Would definitely recommend!"

"I reserved a room online for my daughter who was visiting for a day from Galway and then heading back to Dublin next morning. Since she would be arriving into Limerick in the late evening, my main concerns were walkability from the main train station and safety. But any fears were put to rest by excellent communication from The Bedford's staff, before her arrival. They confirmed what time she would be arriving and provided detailed instructions om how to get to the hotel and how to enter the building and access her room. They even called my daughter twice to confirm she had received the instructions. My daughter loved her stay at the hotel, her room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was amazing and a perfect start to her exploration of Limerick before her return back to Dublin in the evening. A heartfelt thank you to Shannon and Cathie for their hospitality and for taking care of my daughter while she was there."
