"Stayed at the cottage for 8 days, 50/50 working and enjoying life in the country. James was super helpful in all things - including letting me to use his bike (I was without a car) and giving me a lift to Ennis when I wanted to visit Doolin and the cliffs. Holy Island with its ancient remains of a monastery is a must see - the place is pretty much sacred and it feels that way. You can get a boat ride to and from the island from Mountshannon.
