The cabin is super cute. Love the proximity to Waterton. The views from the property are just so relaxing with the pond, the woods, the fields and the mountains off in the distance.
Great stay for bird/wildlife watchers. Wonderful pond to watch from the deck in the morning and evening light. Cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. Two thumbs up.
Had a great at the cabin with some friends for a weekend getaway (5 adults). Best of both worlds being close to Waterton, and having a private and peaceful cabin experience. Would definitely return.
This is a delightful property! It was everything it said it would be in the description. The pond by the house is perfect for bird and animal watching. We would definitely stay again!
We stayed here to celebrate our first anniversary, it was a beautiful spot to be able to do so. It’s convenient to access Waterton and was pet friendly. We enjoyed the ability to cook meals and have the property to ourselves. The host checked in with us prior to arrival and was very helpful. We will be back again, five stars from us.
This property is perfect for a secluded limited technology getaway. It is surrounded by nature which my family enjoyed exploring. Waterton Lakes is a few minutes away.
Make sure to bring supplies with you as shopping is a distance away.
Trapper's cabin is located in a peaceful, isolated place, in the most beautiful part of southern Alberta. We were surrounded by a symphony of song birds and frogs, and enjoyed the occasional visit from the deer neighbours. We love it here!
I went with my 3 kids and partner and we all had an amazing time. The cabin was exactly as advertised and with everything we needed to have a nice relaxing stay. The google pin was a little off as to the location, but Cheryl was very quick to drive up to where we were and guide us to the cabin. The area was quiet, peaceful and beautiful. We will definitely come back next year!
Nice little cabin. Was so nice to sit outside and hear the birds. Should have brought binoculars!
Was grateful for the ac when it got hot as the cabin heats up quickly.
Nice to get away from the crowds.

This cabin suited our needs completely. It is "rustic" but beautiful. The pond is fully of activity from ducks to birds to beavers and deer. The owner was very responsive. Beautiful location we will be back. Only 10 mins to Waterton Park entrance
A hidden gem! A wonderful experience connecting with nature and wildlife. Cabin was very comfortable and has all of the essentials. I searched for a remote location where I could unplug and this was it. I'll be back! Such a great experience.

The location was quiet and amazing. Although the lodge is a trappers lodge and therefore authentic it could do with some TLC. You are definitely paying for location. The interior does not warrant the price tag.
This was my second stay this year. Don't expect a 5 star cabin. It's comfortable though.
If you want comfort around the fire pit, bring your own lawn chairs.
If looking for nature and privacy, the property is magnificent.
I'll be back. I love this place! ❤️
We were so thrilled with the unexpected loveliness of Alberta honestly! So happy with the size and feel of the rustic cabin, beautiful pond and natural surroundings. Our host Cheryl was wonderful from pre registration to check in and check out! She was there immediately with any questions and gave us some great ideas for activities. We were very appreciative of being able to check in and out remotely because of how serious the Covid situation had become in Alberta. Thank you, Cheryl. We felt very safe! There was lots of wood provided for an outside fire as we wished and the barbecue was great. The sunsets were incredible and the stars were so amazing! Everything met and exceeded our expectations and we would recommend this down-to-earth comfy cabin for anyone wanting an experience that is peaceful, out of the way, very private and naturally appealing. We felt that the nightly rate was very reasonable for what we had. Many, many thanks. We would certainly like to return in the future. Much gratitude!

Views and wildlife spotting are wonderful, we even saw a moose in the water one evening.
