"My 3 lady friends and I stayed in this cabin 3 miles from the trail head of Mt. Mitchell. We had a beautiful view of the forest from the deck. Cabin was perfect for the 4 of us. Everything was spotless and well supplied with all that we needed. Unfortunately, we had rain every day and then Hurricane Helene was forecast for the area. We cut our stay short by one day because of the rising river. The owner was very responsive to all our needs and we got a callback within a few minutes if he didn't immediately answer. We would definitely stay there again in the future as well as recommend it to others that were looking for a stay in the mountains."

"This cabin was amazing! We were on a joint bachelor/bachelorette trip and the guys stayed at this cabin and they could not have been more satisfied and back in high school. It was so perfect for a group of guys that also enjoy golfing. The cabin was spacious enough for the girls to visit one night and do group dinner and everyone was able to eat comfortably. We really enjoyed everything about this trip, from the golf course, to the cabin and the city as a whole!"

"This property was everything we could ask for and more! It was clean and exactly as pictured. The game room was awesome to have with a group of us! The driveway is a little scary if you aren't use to mountains, but ultimately really not that bad compared to other driveways around. I loved everything about our trip and the town! Definitely one to save for your future trips!"

"We rented the property for 2 weeks, planning to work remotely in the mountains for a change of climate/scenery and enjoy some outdoor activities with our 10 year old. We arrived to find several immediate issues. First, the entire first floor reeked of water damage and/or decaying animal. When I called in accordance with the “Yonder Clean Guarantee” I was told by the property manager that the smell is “normal” and to buy air fresheners. This space comprises 2 of the bedrooms w/ en suite baths, the pool table room, a TV room, the laundry room, and the only entry/exit door with keyless entry (the only way in/out). My husband gets debilitating migraines from air fresheners so that was not an option for us. I bought odor absorbers and odor eliminator spray - neither made a dent. We couldn’t use any of the spaces on that floor, and we had to hold our breath going in/out of the house and try to ignore that the smell wafted up the open spiral staircase to the main living area. If you need all 5 bedrooms, do not rent this property. Second, the faucet in the main floor bathroom (the only bathtub) was broken. They sent a plumber to fix it, but the fact that this was not reported by the cleaning team and is a testament to the lack of attention to maintenance. The property is rife with deferred maintenance issues - full gutters with saplings growing in them; the fact that the “falling water” features were not functional despite heavy rainfall almost daily during and preceding our visit."

"We loved staying at this house. It was super clean and Sherry was very helpful with any questions we had. The views of the mountains were amazing from the porch where we enjoyed watching sunset each night. The house is very private even though it’s fairly close to the main road. It’s peaceful listening to the river. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again."
