"Lovely country cottage, private ,peaceful and tranquil. Loved the bath on the verandah and the wildlife. Thoroughly enjoying oue stay and would recommend it to friends. Javita was a lovely host and couldn't be more helpful or informative of the area. We loved Dayboro and will be back."

"Such a gorgeous spot to stay for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Loved driving through the property seeing the wallabies around. Thank you Chris and Donna for having us and for all those extra touches you put into it. Amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"Overall I totally enjoyed my stay. I only gave a 4 for accuracy of online listing bc it looked as if its out in the middle of nowhere, with no other buildings near abouts. But cottage 1 is on the hill & the residence was in easy veiw.It would help to provide a bit more privacy where the outdoor bath was. Also the park spot,maybe could be levelled out. Otherwise great.Don't wear shoes, you can walk all over & ground yourself while at it. Rick & Cindy were gracious hosts. Yes it was very relaxing....

"Beautiful place to stay. The birds in the morning, King Parrots along with many other Parrots which came for breakfast and other birds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. David the host was wonderful full of information. There were wonderful books in the cabin with lots of wonderful detail regarding the forest and the animals and birds. Highly recommend 💜"

"We booked a one night stay but then received a call from the establishment advising that there was an error and they do not accept one night bookings. They even wanted us to do the leg work to cancel the booking through the website although they were the ones cancelling, not us. "

The interior of our cabin is fully built out of a poplar ply. The custom built bunk beds provide a fantastic spot to sleep. For smaller kids guard rails are provided but caution is advised.

"PRO: This very cleverly designed eco house was perfect for a few days away from "reality". The quiet location, the view down to the ocean and Glass House Mountains, laid-back serenity. Our dog also loved it...plenty of room to roam and sniff. My suggestion would be to install a ceiling fan. It was 34C during our stay and the house can get very hot - thank goodness for the big outdoor tub!"

"Such a beautiful place just to get away from the city life we live. Highly recommend if you just want to get away and totally unwind and relax. Megan and Brett were lovely and very helpful with things to do and places to go around the glass house mountains and beyond. My partner and i also loved all the walks, climbs and waterfalls all only 25 minutes or less away from Crookneck Retreat."
