"If you’re someone who likes to indulge in relaxation but feels like a space alien in a fancy spa environment, look no further. You can play outside in the forests and trails all day then apply your mud masks when the sun goes down. Sipping wine in the solitude of the sauna house with no time limits, service constraints, or logistical planning around my time to unwind was total perfection and I really hope to come back soon. The town of Mt. Horeb nearby is just splendid and I had so much fun exploring. Lots of lovely local businesses with friendly shopkeepers and real artisanal, wholesome goods. Doesn’t get any better than that. Now I wasn’t completely alone- there were more than a few ladybugs hanging out with me during my May visit, especially once the sun went down- but it’s nothing out of the ordinary for a rustic stay and didn’t really change anything about my visit. I can’t wait to come back again as the sauna and the soaking tub really put the ”glam” in “glamping”. :)"
