"Great location for seeing wildlife. We were even lucky enough to see a bobcat. Property was well off the road and seemed like you were living on "Little House on the Prairie." House was exactly as described, and we couldn't have asked for a better location to see House on the Rock and Cave of the Mounds. Enjoyed are family time together and will definitely be back."

"Our family stayed at The Saddlery hotel to celebrate our son's birthday, who is a freshman at the UW Madison.We absolutely loved everything about this hotel. From the efficient check in/check out process, very clean and beautiful rooms, amazing Lake Monona view, each moment was delightful. Also the hotel has a very safe and secure environment. The only thing that I dislike was that 20 minutes before the check out the cleaning staff was knocking on the door and came inside. I think they should...

"Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. We loved the fact this place was out in the middle of no where. The house was really quiet except when we got major winds (which isn't Steve's fault just part of nature this time of the year). The trails were an extra bonus for us and the dog. Our dog was in heaven. Hopefully we will get to come back again when the trees have leaves and the little church next door is complete. Thanks Steve for sharing your place with us. You are a true blessing "

"The property felt like home as soon as we stepped through the front door. Fully appointed with everything one would need. Decor was very tasteful and warm. Plenty of room to move around in house for the four of us. Driveway and street parking were available for two bass boats and trucks. Electric hook up was great for charging batteries."
