This brand new rental is for the discriminating seasoned traveler. With a private garage for parking and just a short 3-minute walk to the main shopping and dining district in Mount Dora, The Gertrude offers everything you expect in 5 Star lodging. As you enter the second story space of this custom built rental, you’ll immediately notice the voluminous ceilings and beautiful door and window moldings. The living room features luxurious furnishings along with a 65” 4K television that includes Netflix and Hulu Live programming for your viewing pleasure. A well-appointed full sized kitchen right off the living room features a stainless steel refrigerator with ice-maker, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig coffee station, and a stove. Enjoy a glass of wine as you watch the sun go down on your very own private porch off the living space! As you enter the master suite your eyes go immediately to the king-size bed. The bed features a memory foam mattress with cooling gel and Egyptian cotton sheets, ensuring to make your stay one to remember. A 48” 4K television with all the same features allows you to catch the Late Show from the comfort of your bed. An on-suite bathroom adorns the master space. With its large walk-in shower and double vanity you won’t want to leave! For two additional guests, the living room has a sleeper sofa that offers a memory foam mattress.

A Perfect Weekend Getaway
The Gertrude is five star in every way. My friend and I came to Mount Dora for a weekend getaway and could not have been more pleased with our stay. We did not need our car until we were ready to leave. The property was perfect. We loved exploring historic Mount Dora but couldn’t wait to get back to our beautiful home away from home. We had everything we needed and more. Don’t hesitate to book this little piece of Heaven. You are in for a treat. Thank you to Talia for being an amazing host and property manager. Amazing location
It’s a beautiful townhouse with a great bathroom and a super comfortable king bed. We were one block from downtown and loved walking to all the shops and restaurants. My only complaint was that the people who rented the other side of the townhouse were very loud and we could make out conversations while trying to sleep. Overall a good experience and we will come back.

Renting this property was the best decision I made. The reservation was easy to make and the confirmation and additional information on our selection was replied to us immediately. Upon arrival we were pleased to find the house in pristine condition just as pictured. We parked the car in a roomy garage, we walked up the stairs and were pleasantly surprised to find a charming, clean and comfortable home away from home. We delighted in the short walk to the Mount Dora craft show and had the best time! We definitely recommend this company and we hope to be back soon!

As described!
Property was exactly as described. Very clean. Very comfortable. And very conveniently located. My wife and I enjoyed a four night stay in March. Downtown was just a short walk (2-3minutes) and had several very nice restaurants. The lake (also a short walk) was very nice as well. Talia was a very accommodative host and responded to inquiries quickly. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet retreat in a very nice, small town.

First time staying at Mount Dora. Great town highly recommend this destination and this property. Great location walk to everything the town has to offer. The townhouse was very nice and clean and property manager was always on hand anytime we had any issues or questions and also let us have an early checkin which was very helpful. If your looking for a new place to visit definitely checkout mount dora also added bonus was tennis and pickle ball right next door!

My new husband and I stayed here the night of our wedding and the next night as well. It was immaculate, beautiful, comfortable, and soooooo close to downtown! Perfect place for a fun getaway
My mom and I came here for a girls getaway weekend. This house was just perfect! The location is super convenient to historic Mount Dora and all its shops and restaurants. It’s decorated so nicely, and it’s such a comfortable place to stay. During our stay we somehow accidentally clogged the toilet, and the property owner couldn’t have been nicer in getting it fixed in 20 minutes. We will be back!

This isn’t a house that someone lives, then rents out every once in a while. This was built with a purpose. We felt like the Gertrude was built specifically for our stay! It is extremely convenient and an easy walk to downtown restaurants, shops, festivals, lakefront, etc. If you are a seasoned traveler, then this is for you. When we arrived, we literally backed into the included garage, and never had to worry about our vehicle or parking. Talia has this place set up nicely with simplicity and necessities. If you forget something, there’s a good chance that Talia has it waiting for you anyway.

Apartment is in an awesome location near shopping and restaurants in Mt Dora. Everything is new and in perfect condition, exactly as pictured. The property manager was very responsive to a question we had. Overall an excellent experience. Highly recommend.
