"The room was beautiful and spacious! My favorite features were the huge window with a view of Lake Tekapo and the snow-capped mountains, and the skylight for the dark sky views. The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub, and the towels were spa quality. The room included a prepared breakfast along with continental options. The only downside was that it was about a 15 minute walk along a fairly busy highway to any restaurants or shopping, which were sparse. But all in all, it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Galaxy Boutique Hotel. "

"Absolutely loved our stay at Grand Suites Lake Tekapo! The property was gorgeous with super large rooms. The parking was easy. All restaurants and shops were within walking distance. The staff was super friendly as well."

"This property is very close to Lake Tekapo and there are plenty of public parking spaces. The hotel also has amazing public areas and you will definitely take a photo there. The only downside is that room is not very big but their bed is super big and convenient (bedside table has 4 outlets and 2 bed lamps!!!) "

"I enjoyed my stay here. My room was very comfortable and was surrounded by forest. It was an oasis. Service was excellent. They drove me to the InterCity bus stop upon checkout. Meals are included. There was a good variety at breakfast. Dinner was a five course degustation feast. Since I do not eat cheese, they substituted fruit for the 4th course. Much appreciated."

"The motel was a bit old, but the location is fantastic at the center of town and walkable to many eateries and shop. There is construction works going on at the plot of land beside the motel, and might be noisy at times"

"Beautiful location. Front desk staff super helpful and friendly, especially Hafizah. Clean community kitchen stocked with dushes, pots, pans and cleaning supplies, BBQ grill, refrigerator space and small amount of free supplies like milk. Had french press or plunger for coffee so bring coffee grinds. So close to hikes. Great value for price."
