"Just the right amount of space and amenities for two. Great kitchen, cozy furniture all around. Slightly disappointed that the loft was blocked off during our stay (as it looks accessible in the pictures), but it ultimately didn't factor into our enjoyment. The best part of the cabin was that upon checking in, the fireplace and the hot tub were ALREADY running and ready to go. Instant warmth and comfort. Would happily come back to this cozy cabin in the future."

"We had a lovely stay for our group ski trip! The house was great for our group; comfortable beds and nice clean bathrooms, with space for everyone and good common areas to hangout. Kitchen was fully stocked and fireplace was super nice after long day of skiing! We skied at northstar and palisades/alpine, and found the drive easy and less congested than coming from Truckee. "

"Ginger is the most thoughtful vacation home host I’ve ever met. From the moment we got there to we left, she made sure we were comfortable. The place has amazing lake view and it was really nice staring at the view. Kitchen is well stocked, and everything was clean and lplenty of towels in the bathrooms. The location is also perfect, 3min from kings beach, 5min to safeway, and 20min to northstar resort. We’ll definitely go back."

"Although this place is on the main road and is lacking in curb appeal, it was very clean, large, cozy, and close to everything we needed. The back yard is huge and there were plenty of beds for our group of teens. We loved that the rooms were connected for the kids, and we had our own room and bathroom as parents. The wood burning fireplace is a nice, cozy touch. A hot tub would be ideal, but we understand they are not easy to maintain. Otherwise, a great place for a very fair price. "
