"Spent a very pleasant five days here, cycling out daily through lovely countryside and villages. Chris was extremely helpful with local knowledge and she and Patrick attended swiftly to any issue. Couze has a good place to hire bikes from, a fine bakery and local produce shop."

Providing a full guided tour of their beautiful property and the extensive amenities available. Also provided throughout the stay alot of local information on events and things to see and do, best parking locations in local towns etc, which was extremely helpful. Beautiful, quiet and scenic location, with a stunning pool and a lovely local restaurant in the village. accommodation is very well thought out, and extremely well equipped, also the communication leading into the holiday was great and meant we didnt bring things we didn't need. Can't wait to go back and enjoy another fun filled family holiday....would definitely recommend."

"Honestly, I cannot rate our stay highly enough. As others have said, this is a very special place and Martine and Thierry are the loveliest people. They have worked hard to create an outstanding place to stay. The location is beautiful, with amazing far-reaching views and complete peace and quiet. It is definitely somewhere to get away from it all, which we were looking for, but the nearby town of Lalinde has everything, including a supermarket, great Thursday market and some lovely bakeries. The village itself is also very pretty. There are plenty of activitites to do not far from the property if you are inclined to go out, but we actually found it quite hard to leave, everything is so lovely. The pool and pool house are outstanding. Having a large, super clean indoor pool is a definite bonus. No sunscreen needed, no insects in it and everything you could possibly need to enjoy it right there. And you can connect your playlist, and there are disco lights.....we loved it as much as our daughters! At night you can see lots of stars as there is so little light pollution. It was exceptionally hot when we were there but there is some aircon and fans and insect screens on all the upstairs windows so you can safely leave them open at night. The house is spotless and has everything you could need for your stay. Everything is done to an extremely high standard and Thierry and Martine are nearby (but also extremely discreet) if needed. It is also eco friendly. Perfect!"

"We stayed for two weeks and appreciated having this house as a base from which to take daily driving trips in the Perigord. The nearby town of Lalinde had all the services we needed, such as bakery, supermarket, gas station, hair salon, post office, cafes and a good restaurant on the main square. The Thursday market was great! We took day trips to Sarlat, Lascaux IV, the Sunday market at Issigeac, Eymet, La Roque-Gageac and many other charming villages. The region is beautiful and varied. The house itself is spacious, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The beds and bedding are comfortable and the house is quiet and dark at night. The kitchen is well designed, the fridge large, the washing machine and drying racks handy so we could do laundry during our stay. The pool, which we did not use due to the rainy weather, looked beautiful, as did the whole property. Parking is easy. The house would be particularly well suited for a family with young children, as it has a cute little playroom, bunk beds, a spacious gated garden and the pool. The only negative for us was that the house did not get internet or cell phone reception. We had to drive into Lalinde for that. I think the listing should specify that internet coverage is not reliable, as that might be important for some people. Can that be fixed? All in all, a very nice house and a lovely stay. Thank you!"
